How To Use Quail Feeders

A consideration must be given to the numbers of breeders that you keep into an aviary. If you keep for example, 2-3 quails, a 1liter drinker and feeder will do. But if you have got a large aviary, then you need a bigger drinker.

In the commercial, you can get 1 liter, 3 liters, 5 liters, 10 liters, 15 liters drinkers and feeders. According to your necessity, you can select one of these drink liters on your aviary. A particular attention you have to give if, for example, you are going away for the weekend.

Therefore, you have to make sure that your quails have got enough food and water for 2 or 3 days. Therefore, the bigger is the container with the food and the water, the better it is. On the other hand, you can have automatic drinkers which means you have got it on a tank and the water can come directly from the top or you can fill it up from time to time and the water goes into the drinkers while the birds use it, so that you can stay away for a week and so you do not need to put water in it.

The consideration must be given to these items especially when you have got illness in the aviaries. If you have got an automatic drinker, it is very easy because you put the treatment in the water tank, and automatically, all your aviaries are treated. If you use manual drinkers, then you have to fill them individually and everyday.

So, it all depends from the size of your aviaries or pen or rabbit hutch or where else you keep your quails. This is a short guide for feeders and drinkers.
