How To Use Scrapbook Templates

Hi! I'm Susie Jefferson and I'm glad to have been invited by Kay and Graham of Blade Rubber Stamps come and talk to you today all about what I know about scrapbooking. Hi! This time I'm going to talk to you about scrapbook templates. Now, there are basically two types, this is actually made of either Mylar or polypropylene.

Its rigid, it already has spaces cut out. With this one you simply lay it on a page, draw out the sections that you want so you can cut them out, or you can use this as a guide for lettering just lay your sticker letters or something along the edges but this is where you can actually just piece things. If I show you on the back here, that's just giving you an idea of the sort of thing you can do with them.

Obviously, they are washable, wipe able, and you can use them over and over again. Right, this is the other style of template, as I've showed you in another little clip on the back, this is what you are getting in the pack and this is they're suggested layout which you can follow if you want to and down the bottom there a little close up. So we open the pack up, we've got little journaling boxes, etc there that you can just pop out but what you actually got are these pages which are in a grid so it is giving you perfect placement where your pictures are going to be.

You could have a little one in every single one if you wanted. One great big one in the middle, completely cover it, and then add spaces where you can put your little journaling tabs. They've given you a second color as well and then If you we're going to use the ones that came with the kit.

This is the sort of thing that you would have and you just simply pop them out, let's go for this one as it wants to come out. so this is the kind of thing that you could do. So you could have that one just sitting there, it fits perfectly to size and you can see where you are going to put it and then of course depending on what you want, more designs, everything is color coordinated to go together and the only thing you need to act now are your photographs and that is a very basic run through on scrapbooking templates.
