How To Use Shortcuts For Microsoft Word

Step 1:

General typing

To make letters bold, highlight them and press CTRL + B to change letters to bold or press CTRL + B and begin typing.

To make letters italic, highlight them and press CTRL + I. Or press CTRL + I and start typing.

To underline some letters simply highlight them and press CTRL + U or press CTRL + U and start typing

There are two ways to change the font size:
Firstly:
To increase font size one value press CTRL + SHIFT + <
To decrease font size one value press CTRL + SHIFT + >
and secondly:
To increase font size one point press CTRL + [
To decrease font size one point press CTRL + ] -
Simply highlight the text or object you want and press CTRL + C to copy it, or CTRL + X to cut. To paste - choose a location and press CTRL + V

Undo / Redo

To undo an action - press CTRL + Z
If you need to redo the action - press CTRL + Y

Create, view and save documents

To quickly create a new document of the same type as the one you are writing, type CTRL + N and it will appear.

To close document, type CTRL + W.

To save your current document, press CTRL + S

To switch in and out of print preview type ALT + CTRL + I

Moving around your document

To move one paragraph down your document press CTRL + DOWN ARROW
To move up use CTRL + UP ARROW
To move to the top of the next page press CTRL + PAGE DOWN
To move to the top of the previous page press CTRL + PAGE UP
To move to the end of the document press CTRL + END and to move back to the beginning press CTRL + HOME
