How To Use Visual Voicemail
This tutorial provides a simple explanation of how to access visual voicemail and how to listen to, pause and delete the messages.
Hi, I'm Nikki Moore, technology writer and presenter and I'm going to give you some tips on iPads and iPhones. I'm going to tell you how to use visual voicemail, its a great feature that allows you to see your messages without actually listening to them first. It tells you the personĂ¢ name, the contact info and the time that it was left.
When somebody leaves you a voicemail the red dot on the phone icon in the bottom left corner signifies that you have a new message. To check for your voicemail simply tap on the phone icon and this will bring a list of all the voicemails in your voicemail inbox. The blue dot signifies that the message hasn't been listened to, to listen to the message simply tap the message with the blue dot and this will play the message.
To pause the message simply tap again and the message will be paused. If you want to delete the message simply hit the red delete key in the bottom right hand corner and the message will be deleted. Once it is deleted it will automatically take you onto the next message and if you play the next message, scroll forward and rewind the message whilst listening to it.
Visual voicemail is a really nice feature to use and the beauty of it, you don't have to your messages in order. And that's how to use visual voicemail.
