When lifting weights, often all the weight is put in your grip. This video shows you how to use straps to help take some of the pressure off your grip when weightlifting.

Hi, my name is Richardo Macedo, I'm a personal trainer from R-Fitness in Kensington. I'm here today, I'm going to give you some good tips and show you how to do some exercise. A few guidelines: how to do it, and how not to do it.

co.uk. Let's get down to exercise, and let me show you some new things.

It's very simple. First of all, open the hole, then make sure it's nice and tight. Then I'll ask you to hold the bar and get close to the bar.

The straps go on the bar, rolling against your hand, several times, twist a little bit. The same on the other side, go over the bar, grab it, good. So now you've got an extra support, so the weight is not just in your fingers, in your grip.

So you have your wrists supporting the weight with the help of the straps. That's it.
