How To Use Your iPod Screen Lock

Step 1: Main Menu

If you aren't already on the Main Menu, keep pressing the Menu button on the scroll wheel until you are.

Slide your finger on the click wheel until you have highlighted Extras. Click the center of the click wheel to make your selection.

Step 2: Set The Combination

Slide your finger along the click wheel to highlight Set Combination, and click to make your selection.

When the combination screen pops up, slide your finger along the scroll wheel to select a series of numbers for your secret combination. Click the center of the click wheel to make your selection and move to the next field.

Step 3: Turn On Screen Lock

Slide your finger along the click wheel and highlight Turn Screen Lock On.

Click the center of the click wheel to make your selection. The next screen will give you the choice to Lock or Cancel.

Highlight Lock and click on the center of the click wheel to activate the Screen Lock.
