How To Use Your iPod Shuffle As A Hard Drive

Step 1: You Will Need

iPod Shuffle, USB connector dock and a computer with the latest version of iTunes on it.

Step 2: Get Connected

Connect one end of your USB connector dock into the iPod shuffle and the other end into an empty USB port on your computer.

Step 3: Settings

In the source list on the left side of the iTunes window, select the Shuffle. Choose the Settings tab at the top center of the main window.

Step 4: Enable Disk

Click on the checkbox for Enable Disk use in the Options section and move the slider to choose the amount of storage space you wish to utilize for non-audio files. Click Apply, and your iPod Shuffle will appear on your desktop where you can drag and drop files into it.
