    the only downfall is the ipod runs on battery and could possibly die in the middle of the movie, for long term watching, one may want to invest in a dock that charges also

    Tried this last night via a scart plug and the leads. It works very well. Volume was effected but this could be the recordings I have made. Quality of the picture varied dependent upon how the file was reduced but very watchable. A big thank you for the knowledge. Opens up a whole new world while travelling.
