How To Wax Your Car
Step 1: Set up
Wash car thoroughly using mild soap and water.
Step 2: Wax attacks
Choose a wax, ideally one containing genuine carnauba.
Step 3: Smear gear
Place some wax onto a damp sponge or directly onto the car.
Step 4: Apply yourself
Using a gentle circular motion, apply the wax evenly over a section of the car. Let the wax sit for a few minutes per the wax instructions but not so long that it completely dries out.
Step 5: You're so buff
Using a nonabrasive cotton cloth or rag, begin removing the wax and polishing the car. As the wax film disappears, you should see the paint begin to shine.
Step 6: Finish the finish
Once you are happy with the sheen, continue on and polish the rest of car. Be sure to wipe off any remaining wax residue.

nice madarchode
Be a good idea , to pre-rinse paintwork, double bucket method one to wash one to rinse mitt before placing back into the suds bucket reduces the risk of gritt contamination, which results in swirls., microfibre drying towel, straight lines when polishing and buff with a microfibre buffing towel, and dont wax in direct sunlight. if you can see white wax everywhere after applying you are using too much!!
I'm happy to use "Armorall Wax it dry" you apply it to a wet car using a synthetic chamois and rub over the body work, it's so easy I use it on my Corvette Z06 with brilliant results.
That was hard work. I've used Mer, Triple Wax and just about every other wax. All dry to a hard finish, and leave a powdery residue when you buff off. Check this stuff out. Waterless wax. Thought it was a joke when someone told me about it, but now it's the only wax I can be bothered to use. Takes a fraction of the time and the finish is as good as any i've seen. No I don't work for the company, but I am a fan of their wax product. http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Netparts-Car-Care
A good example of stating the bleeding obvious......
