How To Wear A Lace Veil

Hi. I am Zoe Lem, stylist and owner of My Sugarland and I am here to give some insider's tips on how to do fashion. I am now going to show how to wear a lace veil.

So, you want to be careful in picking the lace because you don't want to look like a twirl of hohoda. This is a vintage style lace. You want to go for something - this is more than delicate lace - rather than anything too crumpling at the face, different lengths depending on the dress.

Generally, you don't want to go too long unless you go to be trained on your dress. You also, then, depending on how vintage your style you are going, you want to clip this veil in. Again, this is something you wear for the ceremony and it depends on whether you want to wear and really want to wear.

You have three looks in one, you got that pinned into your hair, you then go want something to cover up and also something to wear once it is available later on. So, you are keeping the detail. So, you got the lace on the veil.

Rather than going something too simple, you can work with the vintage feel, so I am going for something that has got some lace in it and it's a slightly different lace but it works together. It's got the sparkle and a little bit of shine that really pick up in the light, then you want to fasten up in underneath depending whether you got fringe or where your hair falls. Then, you can go for in front of the veil that covers up, you have got veil on top, so that later on, once you are done with the ceremony, you can get rid of the veil and this will look great at the side of the hair and you don't want to get rid of the veil at the side, and the back will look great at the side of the hair and back.

You don't want to enter without a veil. You got two looks in one, so be careful of the size of the lace, where you put it, depending on the type of hair. If you could lift up your hair, the right shape, right accessories to go with it, you got the complement.
