Now, I'm going to show you how to wear a long coat. Long coats are quite good with boots and if you want to look taller, wear the same color boots as the coat, because then it carries on the string line of faith. That's very good for the petite woman, however, if you don't want to look taller, then wear contrasting color.

Now, the scarf is very important when you're wearing coats, because it's the actual color closest to your face. So, you can have different combinations. If you have a warm complexion, wear something like a warm pink and keep with your coloring.

Camel is a very fashionable color this season, and also a good combination is to wear black. Wearing black brings out quite a high contrast combination. So if you have a high contrast coloring, then this is the way to go.

However, if you're quite muted, and have softer coloring, then go for more tonal, a softer pink, which actually merges, it blends in together. You could have, again, a warm coloring, which is more high contrast, or you can go for a more classic look because brown goes with camel and that gives a more classic look. Usually, long coats are smart, so what you need to do is go for a smart hat, if you want to wear a hat, something like this cloche cap or go for a beret.

However, if it's really snowy and cold, you could get away with a woolly hat as long as you're scarf is not woolly as well. Go for a pashmina type scarf and then don't forget to wear leather gloves rather than woollen gloves. And your bag is important as well.

You can go more tonal with your bag, or you can go more dramatic, again, with the black. And that is how to wear a long coat. .
