How To Wear A Pencil Skirt

com. Hi, I'm here to talk to you today about how to wear a pencil skirt. A pencil skirt is such a key piece of any woman's wardrobe.

It's perfect for work and for play. I'm going to show you a couple of different variations of pencil skirts. First off, I've got on the mannequin, a really, just a classic black pencil skirt which is perfect for work, and instead of teeing it with a classic white shirt, I've gone for a silk top and a belt just to bring it onto trend and make it much more current for this season.

The important thing is when you're wearing a pencil skirt is to make that it's not too tight on the waist but it holds you in. So it really has to skim your hips and really accentuate your curves. So always when I'm wearing a pencil skirt, I like to add a waist belt.

The waist belt is such a great way on defining your waist and showing off how sexy your figure is. This top works the same way as a white shirt but it's got an exaggerated sleeve which means it shows off the hip and the shoulder which again exaggerates your tiny waist. This is an alternative to a normal work wear look.

Obviously, we're used to wearing the white shirt with a black skirt. What I'd say is if you're going to wear the white shirt, add a colored belt. So make it really exciting and if you're not going to wear a colored belt, then you need to add a colored shoe or a colored top because it makes that work wear much more exciting.

Another option is to go for a colored pencil skirt or a patent. Here I've got a really great bandage pencil skirt in a purple. You can go any color and just keep it really really neutral and simple on the top.

Or you can go for a print like a tweed or, this one is really fantastic for to winter. Again, what I'd say is exaggerate your waist with a belt and make sure that you really balance out your shoulders with some detailing. Either like this or a structure on the immediate shoulder.

Another way of wearing your pencil skirt is to take into evening which we all love to feel glamorous. This is a really good example of a top that can work with a pencil skirt. It's really nice and open so it's much more evening wear than work wear and it's got this pleating detail which sits really nice like a petlum over the skirt.

Again, exaggerate your waist, so follow this seaming along and pop your belt over the top because it makes a great evening look. So when you're thinking of buying you a pencil skirt, try and mix and match it and add more color to make it much more current. .
