Hi. I'm going to show you how to wear a shirt dress. Shirt dresses can be a great staple-izer for your wardrobe as they can be layered over items.

They could be worn summer or winter. You can wear your shirt dress as it is as a dress or alternatively, you can open up all the buttons, put a long sleeve T-shirt or dress underneath and put it on with a pair of leggings or skinny jeans. If you're going to wear a shirt dress, then try to accessorise it, stop it from looking plain.

The key accessories will help it to look stylish and coordinated. Shirt dresses often come with these thin little belts. I always think it's a good idea to take this belt off and replace it with something that makes it a little more of a statement.

Put in a big chunky belt like that over the waist, helps to define your waist and also pull the look altogether. Also leave it slightly open, don't button it all the way up to the top as this can look too buttoned up and can make your outfit look a little stiff. Leave it open slightly and pop a little vest inside it.

This will help to open up a little and it's also really good if you've got a larger boobs. You can substitute a vest like this for a long sleeved T-shirt during the winter because not only is it going to give you a little bit of extra warmth but if you let the sleeves hang outside, it will just pull the look together and add a little bit more colour to your outfit. You could also wear a scarf with your shirt dress but don't go for too chunky as it can be too much fuss around the neck area.

Go for something in a flimsy chiffon or cotton. Layer it underneath the collar. Again, don't let it tie, just let it hang down the sides as it will help to elongate the body and cool the whole look together.
