Hi, I'm Zoe Lem, stylist and owner of My Sugarland, and today I'm going to give you some insider's tips on how to do fashion. Now, I'm going to show you how to wear a white dress, going to do two options because this is the perfect wedding dress, most people wear white or off white or tones of white for their wedding, so this is a vintage dress, beautiful lace, early 40's dress. You want to be careful that you don't look period drama, so in the accessorizing, you want to keep it a collective and keep it vintage style but not all actual vintage.

Little head piece - the idea of a veil, so a little bit quirky, again tying in with the lace, not exactly the same, little bit of veil and a headband, it's not too much and not too heavy on the neck. Because you want to balance out with a long dress, and with a lot of white, you don't want to go too heavy on the top half. In shoes, we're not going with white.

Wearing white is very dangerous. Going on white accessory, so we're going to warm it up. We're going to go for a nude color.

Light colors but nude, the perfect little heel - you will have a padded platform, really comfortable, so great for a wedding because you can wear them all day and dance. Not matching but we got a similar tone, so the bag is again nude colored in a snakeskin so it's a handmade little bag but it's not matching and it's not exactly the same. And then, this neckline is your necklace.

You don't need a necklace to shape from. That is perfect and it does show your beautiful skin there. So, earrings - we're going to go for something that has a little bit of sparkle.

It lifts the face, sparkle near the face, it's really brightening, bright for the eyes, so an earring, small amount of accessories and then you want something for your shoulders. We're not going for the same fabric but mixing up the textures which again, it makes things less matchy and less contrived, and a little bit more flattering and less like you tried so hard. So, a little bit balances out on the shoulders and the hips.

So, that's doing it for a wedding with light colors. So, this would also be a fab dress for an evening outfit in the summer but we're going to brighten it up. Nipping in at the waist, it already has that nip in through panels in the dress but we're going to highlight that even more, so mixing up the colors, we're adding this great brown shade.

Don't really go too thick if you got quite a small waist, you don't want to go too wide on the belt because it's going to really column through the waist making you look very straight up and down. So we're going to add a bit of texture and color and go quite wild on the color, styling for this one, then it's just a way of using the white as a base then using the white base to add a color and then we're pulling out colors from the accessories we use, for a bag. So, you have got the blacks, you have got the colour, we're not focusing on the black.

And for shoes, I would go for one of the other tones, a gold or a metallic rather than heavy as the black because black's a little bit too heavy if you don't want to look too 60's, so the color and the browns, and the white is just the base and lifting it all. So that's a really good way to wear a white dress. .
