Converse shoes have become very popular over the last couple of years. And they are not something that are just confined to kids, they can be worn by any age group. I often get people in their older forties asking me if they can make Converse fit, and certainly you can.

You just have to make sure that you wear them with the right items. Don't put your Converse shoes on with things like tracksuit bottoms or anything that's overly casual as they can look really sporty. I think Converse shoes work really well when they're teamed with a pair of boyfriend jeans.

They're a really nice casual way of offsetting your jeans and a comfortable way of getting around town as well. If you're going to wear Converse shoes, then always try to wear something a little bit smarter just to upgrade the look a little bit. So perhaps you would want to wear your Converse shoes with your boyfriend jeans and a structured jacket.

That way you just get something a little bit smarter added into your look. White converse shoes are the most popular color on the market because they tend to go with everything, but there are lots of colors out there so don't be afraid to try something in a brighter color. If you are slightly older, then I would steer clear of those brighter colors and maybe go for something in a metallic if you want to have a brighter color shoe.

Go for some leather metallic ones and a brown color because again, they are going to mix with everything. If you are slightly younger, you can go for those really funky colors and those really funky pants and that's a really great way of being able to update your wardrobe, update your look especially season to season if you want to pick a particular fashion color. Always keep your converse a little bit dirty.

You never ever want to be seen in a pair of Converse shoes that are brand spanking new and out the box. So once they start to get a little bit of dirt on them, don't immediately think about putting them in the washing machine. It's best to have them looking a little bit distressed and a little bit worn in.

They want to look like a pair of shoes that you lovingly wore and they got dirty and that is part of your whole look. Don't go for anything that is too clean and too spangly. You don't want to be wiping these boots with a cleaner every time you get a little bit of dirt on to them.

Converse shoes should have a worn in look and they should always look like you lovingly wore them. And that is how you wear Converse shoes. .
