Cowboy boots are another one of those items that always seems to be in trend. They never seem to go out of fashion. The best results, I always think is to buy a pair of vintage cowboy boots, like these.

Go for something that's a little bit scuffed and worn, as new cowboy boots straight out of the box can have a slightly plastic feel. Something like this which is a little bit worn just gives your look a little bit more authenticity. You should always wear your cowboy boots with something like skinny jeans as it will slot your legs nicely in.

Don't wear anything like these with a pair of baggy jeans, boyfriend jeans or any sort of cotton pants. It will just make your look messy and it will just put too much material into the base of these cowboy boots. So something like skinny jeans or indeed leggings is a really great thing to put on with your cowboy boots.

Alternatively, you can wear something like these cowboy boots with a shorter dress. You should always wear tights with it though, as cowboy boots and bare legs can look a little bit tacky, and look a little bit waggy. You just want to wear the cowboy boots as an influence from the Westerns. Don't go for the whole look from head to toe. That can just look fancy dress-ish.

When buying cowboy boots, you should try and go for a neutral colour, like a brown or a black. Don't go for anything too brightly coloured, like red or pink. These can tend to look a little bit tacky.
