Another option that you would do, which is a lovely pair of dress shorts, which actually looks like a skirt but cleverly, if you look at the back, it's actually a pair of shorts. So something like this has the look benefit of a skirt but the practicality of a pair of shorts, so, best of both worlds.

This type of thing can be dressed up again with some kind of pretty blouse, some kind of a pretty detailed t-shirt. You could probably style that up with a pair of wedge heels. This is slightly less formal than the first, coral pair that we looked at.

Just looking at the fabric, it's quite soft. It's quite floppy and therefore, I probably wouldn't team that up with anything too stiff and structured. Keep to a very floaty theme with this type of dress short.
