Hi, I'm Claire Wacey and I'm a personal stylist, and today I'm going to give you some great style tips. For anything you don't find in these videos, go to my website and check out all the tips I have there. Hi.

Today, I'm going to talk to you about how to wear faux fur. Faux fur has been everywhere on the catwalks. Chanel had yeti fur.

In fact, that's probably my favourite and I should talk about it first. This yeti jacket is fantastic, it's from Zara, really really great statement piece to add to your wardrobe. It also comes with a fab little belt that you can cinch in the waist but what it really does is it dresses up an evening look as well as a day look.

I'm going to show you on the mannequin here how it can really make a statement against a fab black evening dress and then you just utilize your belt and cinch back in but it's a real yeti feel, really exciting for evening wear. But equally, pop it with a pair of jeans and a nice turtleneck, cinch in your waist, and you're going to be so snug and warm in this that you're going to want to wear it all through the season. Really, I would add a leather glove to this look as well just to kind of add to the warmth but also, I really like to go for a colour leather glove when I'm wearing fur because it really adds a contrast and makes it much more exciting.

Fur coats, obviously, are really really easy to wear. This is the yeti style. This is the classic faux fur.

This is meant to be rabbit or fox fur. Again, it's really really fab, really luxurious and feels slightly more vintage. I'm going to pop this one on to show you how it really works with all sorts of outfit.

So really, you can wear this as your winter coat. This faux rabbit or fox fur is really fantastic for wearing all over as winter coat. So, you can add a woolly hat, you could add layers underneath and you can still cinch in at the waist.

But the square-ness of this jacket means that it works really well on its own and I always think they look really really great and done with a fantastic vintage-feel dress underneath. Now, if you're a bit scared of fur, it's really great just to experiment with it. Rather than going all out and buy that fur jacket straight away and go “Yup, I'm going to do fur,” why not introduce into your wardrobe really slowly and with little accessories here and there.

For example, you could go really really simple, faux fur scarf, which is really really easy to wear. Pop over your normal coat or normal jacket and it makes it much more exciting, looks great with leather as well. So, you can really mix and match this into your wardrobe without it being too much of a massive impact straight off.

Alternatively, you could an evening gilet or this one's really a little nice wrapped top. The fur for this is really fantastic for evening wear so if you're wearing a really simple evening dress, you can pop this fantastic little gilet over the top or you could alternatively wear it with just a classic jean and a t-shirt or a sparkly top and it makes that evening out with friends much more glamorous when you add in a colored fur. I think this is a really good way of introducing into a really simplistic wardrobe.

If you're not much of a big-on dressing up for the evening but you just go for a more simple look, add in some fur and have a bit of fun with it. It's warm which is a bonus because this winter's meant to be really cold but also, it looks really really glam and you can use it in so many different ways. So, you can dress it up or down.

You've got it in your wardrobe for when you have that glam evening but also you could wear it with a really nice jumper dress and some boots during the day with jeans and a t-shirt. It really dresses anything up and I think it's really important to try mix and match this season and fur gives an opportunity to be a little bit more daring and a little bit more exciting when we're doing it. So whether you're a faux fox fur or rabbit
