Hi, I'm Carla Leenders and I am a stylist at the Glass Slipper. Today, I am going to show you how to style your wardrobe. When you're buying a fleece jacket, go for something that is fitted like this one because you do not want to add bulk to your shape.

Something like this that's got a nice waist built into it and it's slim fitting and it's just going to come towards your curves and fit your shape without looking overly bulky or without looking too performance wear. Also, go for something in a very fine and thin fleece. Don't go for anything too bulky or too chunky.

What you ought to do is use this as a layering piece. You don't want this to be your only outside piece. Fleece jackets don't have to just be reserved for wearing outside or for looking outdoorsy.

They don't have to just be performance gear. They can be fashionable, too. With your fleece jacket, keep it simple in colour and then layer your colours underneath.

The best advice is to buy black, navy, grey or brown ones. That way, it will go with virtually everything in your wardrobe. You can then make it a little bit more fashionable by putting a bit brighter underneath.

Teaming it with some skinny or boot-cut jeans and that way, you still got your comfort level in there and it can be nice and warm. What you want to do with your fleece jacket then is layer it up with something else. While it's not so cold, you can wear this outside because it is nice and fitted, it's not going to look like a bulky piece of performance wear but when it gets a bit colder or it gets a bit wet, you can layer it underneath your raincoat.

Leave the hood out, tuck it in and I always think it's a really good idea to lengthen your sleeves so you can hint at your fleece jacket underneath by letting that sleeve layer a little bit longer and rolling your sleeve of your waterproof jacket up. Just to make it look a little bit more trendy and a little bit more stylized. Lastly, put it with some key accessories.

A niece woolly beenie and a cool scarf will finish off your outfit and make it look a little bit more fashionable but still keep you warm. So, it's functional and it's fashionable. And that's how you wear a fleece jacket. .
