Hi! I'm Carla Leenders and I'm a stylist for the glass slipper. Today I'm going to show you how to style your wardrobe. For a lot of men who work in office scenarios office or have to wear suits to work, finding the right pair of trouser can be a mind fill depending on your body shape.

If you're tall and slim then trousers like this are perfect as they have a very lean leg and they taper at the bottom this is great for that Don Draper Mad Men look that is so fashionable at the moment and it works really well on guys who have a slim athletic build. It doesn't work so well if you've got heavier chunky thighs. This sort of trouser should be teamed with a slim fitting shirt.

Keep it simple with something like this, a shirt that has a little bit of sounds like stretch and a little bit of lycra in it, so it will contour to your shape and its going to continue the long sleek line of your slim trousers. If you've got slightly heavier thighs then it is better to go for something in a more structured heavier fabric as it's going to help your figure looking streamlined. Go for something that's slightly wider or boot cut at the bottom.

Because it is going to balance your leg out and it is going to keep you looking contoured. Don't go for anything too wide legged as it will come out from the thighs and stay out and that will make your thighs look even bigger. Team this with a shirt, again with something that's a little bit fitted but not something that is so fitted that's going to pull or has too much lycra in it.

Go for a shirt that's got some darting in the back because again it's going to contour your figure and help to define your waist which will help to balance out thighs. Lastly, pinstriped trousers are a great way to look formal. They instantly make any outfit look smart and they can work on bigger thigh guys or if you're very slim.

If you don't want to make them look overly smart then team them with a cardigan and a nice shirt and then that way you can take away the overly formal or city business man look but you still get that nice, stylish and work wear look and that's how you wear formal trousers.
