If the quality of the lace isn't fantastic, you really need to make the lace work in your casual wardrobe. When the lace is really good quality, it works better for evening wear. Also, don't be afraid of using white lace or creams.

Pop it with black accessories or get a little bit of beige in there as well or camel tones. A fine quality lace can be dressed up or down. So if you're dressing it down, pop on some chunky knits, go for slouchy boot, but if you're dressing it up, go for a really fantastic black tight and a round-toe shoe.

So during the day, go for a slouchy boot and a chunky knit over the top but if you're taking it into the evening which this works really well for, go for a black tight and a round-toe shoe. Obviously, it's got to be killer heels because it's evening and then bring in the beiges and soft tones for your accessories. Layer up some pearls or some sparkle on the neckline.

Go for maybe a beige option for your clutch or your handbag. But white and cream laces mix with your black, so it's a really dramatic colour contrast. Also, we've got this really great classic lace dress which is perfect for evening.

Go for a real short dress and that really kind of brings everything together. Also, if you're going to go for a sheer lace or on the whole body, make sure you got a cami underneath it or you just go for sheer lace on the sleeve which is much more elegant and really sophisticated. Then, another way of kind of dressing into your evening wardrobe is to go for a top that has lace detailing so it doesn't have to be all lace.

This is kind of a little waist coat top, really fab, cinches your body in, makes your bust look amazing, but at the back, it's got this really nice panel of lace. It's just finding those tops that have that intricate element in them and that would make that lace really stand out and take up to the next level. But remember, when you're wearing your lace, go for good quality lace, go for slightly thicker lace because it will last longer but also make sure that you really finish off your look.
