Now, I'm going to talk about how to wear metallic eye shadows. My model already has a metallic eye shadow applied and she wants to know how to make them more wearable and apart from obviously your clothes that you change for parties and all that, metallic eye shadows, you know, you can even use them during the day if you apply them very fairly. In this case, what I'm going to do is go to contour her eye and just make it a little bit stronger like it's going out for a club or something and you can see how her eyes are going to pop.

As I said, all I'm going to do here is contouring and for that, I'll just get a metallic black and my pencil liner and what I'm going to do with this tissue is just going to position it under her eye and the reason is because metallics can be quite dusty and so it could go everywhere. What I'm going to work here is with the socket of her eye, this is to contour the eye and bring in all these metallics together. When you're applying this kind of product, they are very intense and well-pigmented so what I would suggest is that you apply very fairly and then you build up in layers.

So here, I'm just going at the end, just going to contour her eye, so we're going to give that a metallic smoky effect. Lovely! I'm just blending here and I'm going to go back to that, as I said, you work in layers with it. After, we'll see.

I'm going to move in to the other side with a tissue over here. And again, we're just going to dab this product. I'm just going to follow the eye socket for definition.

You can go as strong or as fair as you want with metallics. In this case, I'm making this very fair, very light. I don't want to make this too strong but at the same time, I want the colours to be seen.

Okay, this is looking really really nice. So blending a little bit, remember you have both colours here, okay. Make sure that you have both eyes aligned.

I'm just going to blend a little bit out the product. Nice! And now, I'm going to go under her eyes again with this same black. Black is a very intense colour and what it does is mostly if you're going out, that colour will make your look more intense and pastel colours will make it look more daylight.

So using metallics, dark eye shadows will make it really intense and just because of the bouncing, metallics are reflecting particles because the colour is quite intense, okay. After this, we can apply the eyeliner on her eyes, mascara, even fake eyelashes if you want, just to make it really really pop. I'm putting here this gel eyeliner.

You can make it as thin or as thick as you want and just bring it up. Remember that the thicker side of the liner goes to the outside of the eye, okay, and you can push that out so you meet that line, making sure that it reaches the lash line. It's quite important otherwise you're going to have a gap, there.

I'm just going to thicken it out a little bit. Good. Okay, that's great and now I'm going to apply the pencil liner.

Open your eyes please, okay. I'm just going to grab down the lid. You can use a black and just in this case, I'm using a gray pencil liner and again you pull down so it makes it easier for you not to touch the eyeball and again go on the lash, on the waterline very easily without hurting your model.

Do remember that everything you need to do, very carefully rub around the eye area. Okay, last but not least, we're going to apply the mascara and you can curl the lashes if you want. Look down for me, please.

Okay, my mascara now. Chin down and look up. Lovely! And this is to reach these little lashes here.

Chin down - look up will enable you to reach these little lashes round the eye without again hurting your model, making it easy for you because the lashes will be more visible that way. Okay. So, not much you are going to do.

It's just literally making sure that you cover these little hairs around the eye. Excellent! And now, close your eyes for me please. And now, yo
