Pink eye shadow can be made more wearable if it matches the clothes you are wearing. In this video, the pink and gray combination is emphasized. A makeup artist shares her expertise in applying pink eye shadows and blending eye makeup.
Now, I'm going to talk about how to wear pink eyes shadows. She already has, my model, pink eye shadows and one good thing that she is actually matching this pink eye shadow with is her clothes which are gray, and gray and pink work hand in hand. So for that inspiration, I'm just going to go on her eye and I'm going to make this pink a little more wearable over what she's actually having at the moment.
I've got a great pencil liner and what I'm going to do is give shape to her eye and also apply as an eyeliner and after I sharpen my pencil, I will ask my model to close her eyes. I'm going to start from the end of her eye right to the center, very close to the lashes and it doesn't matter if it's very even or not because I'm going to smudge this stuff back just to make it a little bit more intense, the makeup that she's wearing. And again by using gray, I'm just going to match with the clothes that she has.
I'm just going to look really really good and again, I'm lifting her lid just to reach the line on the lashes, okay. So, right away, we can see her eyes popping and we haven't as much blended, we haven't done anything but just the gray goes really well with the pink. I'm going to do the same on the other eye.
So, with the end, I'm going quite close to the lash line, and I'm doing inside quite close, okay, so both lines are going to meet in the middle, alright. So, I make this slightly thicker, okay. So, once I have that, I'll just get my flat brush, make a smudge with the flat brush, and all I'm going to do is move this product, just move it round, and just bring it up to blend with the pink that is there and you'll see that the harshness of the line is disappearing slowly and you just bring it out a little bit and then both colours are blending so well, most likely if you have one eye shadow.
Okay, so I'm going to clean a little bit underneath from her mascara. With this brush, I conceal a little bit with it. So, I'm going to the smudge the liner on the other eye and again, just lift her lid a little bit just to make sure that it's smooth before on the line that I just put in there.
Now, I'm bringing it close to make sure it blends with what she's got on there, very gently, so when you see these kinds of movement, all gentle, do remember that the eyes are sensitive areas so you need to do this very gently yet making sure that what you're aiming to do which is blending these lines is actually there, okay. Let's see. We go a little bit that way just making the eyes even after I have applied that.
Okay, so I'm going to clean under the eye area. You can go back to conceal there if you need to before you take up time, just to clean it a little bit like so, okay, and while my brush has that gray in there, I'm just going to contour in a little bit her eyes. She's got very beautiful big eyes so I'm just making the end of the eye more defined and just joining this colour with the pink that you see in there and again you're going to see that those two colours are merging into one which is beautiful.
Lovely! So, again, let me do the same on the other side. Please pay attention to what you've done on one side so that you give it consistency. Just bring it up, you don't need to bring it all the way because in the end, pink, and this is a very basic way, quick and easy, to make your pink eye shadow stand out a little bit more.
And what you can do after that is put your highlighter, do her eyebrows, just go inside the eye with a brighter colour like a frosty colour just to open the eye a little bit more which, in fact, I'm going to put just now. Okay, so just right here, let's give it a little bit of white frost from Mac and just going to open her eyes a bit now. And by enhancing her pink eye shadow, the one that she has before, she can wear it with pretty much everything and at work, to go out, it's a very nice day look.
And this is my take on how to wear pink eye shadow with a combination of gray colo
