How to wear plus size coats/ When it comes to buying a coat, a lot of the High Street is full of very bulky puffer jackets and this can add a lot of extra shape to your silhouette. We have Kailey here in a really great winter coat.
It's not too heavy although it is quilted and padded. So while it gives her the warmth, it doesn't give her the extra bulk. They put some great Mac detailing on it and this belt is perfect for creating an hourglass even in a heavy winter coat.
It inches her in the waist and if you want to be extra fashion you can change your belt to one of your own, just to make it a bit more customized. The length is great for whether you're an apple or pear shape. As for pears, it will skim your hips and for apples, it will just drop a bit longer.
The neckline is also really great. One thing to avoid when buying a coat is a double-breasted coat. The double-breasted aspect adds a lot of bulk to a busty girl.
So therefore, this deep V is much better for elongating your figure. The longer the V, the better the line. This coat is really on trend.
It's got some great military detailing and the seaming again draws the eye down and that's a key thing to remember when buying coats. Now it does have two side pockets which is fine. Just be careful not to overfill them as especially on pear shape girls, this will add bulk at your heaviest parts.
If you look at the back detailing on this coat, you've got some beautiful seam lines. Again it looks very tailored, very expensive and the lines once again draw your eye down to make you look taller. And that's how to wear plus size coats.
