So today, I'm going to give you some tips on how to wear sequined tops. Now, sequined tops are something that usually should only be around the shops at Christmas time so it's a very sort of glitzy kind of party look. But these days, you can wear sequins all year round and I'm here to give you some ideas on how to do that.

Vintage is a really good way to wear sequined tops and Lily's wearing a vintage shirt here that's got black sequins and some little pearl detail. But another option for daytime is to go for something like a sequined vest that's just a little bit more subtle, like almost matte sequins and that can be worn with jean shorts or blue jeans or black jeans for something a little bit simpler. Another daytime option for sequins is to go with something that's more baggy.

This is actually something like a size 14 top. You can just wear something that's oversized and that's always good with denim shorts and jeans and some heels if you want to dress it for the night and obviously, you probably want to wear it over a vest if you're more demure but if you're daring, you could go for just over your underwear, so a nod to the underwear as outerwear trend. So, another option for the sequined top is to go for something really glitzy and a bit vintage.
