How To Wear Strapless Tops

So now, I'm going to give you some tips on how to wear strapless tops. Now with strapless tops, you can wear them during the day but you want to keep it very simple, just something like a really plain tube style top, something like from the American Apparel, and obviously with all the strapless tops, it's really important to have a really good strapless bra to go underneath. What they really sort of work is for evening wear and I'm going to give you three examples of that now.

So starting with the top Lily's wearing, this is kind of inspired by a long van, the draping detail at the front, and cinched in waist. It's quite a classy sort of thing to wear for evening with jeans, dressed down a little bit or with black pencil skirt and high heels to make it quite lady-like and formal. Another trend that goes really well with strapless tops is underwear as outerwear.

We've got an underwear corset top with lace detailing and again, that would look good over jeans and if you want something a bit more demure, you can put a jacket over the top. Finally, for our vintage option, a classic 70's sequined number is a really great strapless top. It's quite fun and would really look good with something like an a-line skirt and chiffon or again with jeans and with some strappy 70's vintage heels are great.

So, accessories are quite important with strapless tops because obviously, you're going to have a bare neckline, so you can go for something like bright beads, vintage style or statement necklace with lots of beading and lace, things like that, or even a little neck scarf for something vintage. And when it's hot in summer, obviously strapless tops are great but for winter, you might want to cover up with a cardigan or something like a tailored jacket or even a leather jacket. So to summarize, for evening wear, that's where strapless tops really come into their own.

You could go for something that's underwear as outerwear or vintage with lots of sequins and then you can cover up for winter with a jacket or cardigan. .
