How To Wear Summer Tops

So now, I'm going to take you through a few useful tips for actually wearing your summer tops. Now given if it's a hot day, you're not likely to want to put a lot of clothing on top with your summer tops. But given the British weather, and given the really cold climate that you can experience in your offices with some fierce air conditioning, chances are that you won't always be wearing a summer top like this one that's so revealing that you're going to want to cover up at stages.

So I'm going to give you some useful tips on how you can combine summer tops in your wardrobe. So, most summer tops will stand alone in their entirety. This one for example has got a very dramatic one shoulder detail and the big bow.

So, it looks great on it's own but you could add some funky earrings given that the neckline is going to be quite exposed with that. Just to accessorize and give it your own little stamp on there. If it's a cooler day, you still can wear a top like this by adding another layer, a cardigan.

Cardigans are invaluable during the summertime as they will go onto anything. And a top like this that is very thin you're not going to get very hot in it. So if it's just a classic summer, British summer day, then this is an ideal option.

And as you can see just by revealing the bow detail it's still very wearable. So by simply just adding a lightweight cardigan, shrug cardigan like this one, it still makes that very summery top wearable on a day when it's just that little bit cooler. Also, other tops that you can do that with are these little bolero style tops, also good for someone who perhaps doesn't want to expose their top half too much, maybe a little conscious of their arms.

Just wearing that over the top of a more skimpy top, a summer top, just makes it that bit more wearable and more comfortable.
