When you want to wheelie your motorcycle, the first thing that you need to do is make sure you've got on the correct protective clothing. A helmet is essential. To get yourself in the right position on the bike, you need to sit a little bit further back on the machine as if you're doing a sit down wheelie.

Snap the throttle open, and the front wheel should come up in the air nicely, if you're sitting in the right area. If the back wheel skids, just ease off. Whack the throttle open again, give it a bit of a tug on the bars as you're doing it and that front wheel should come up in the air.

To ride the wheelie through and keep that wheel up in the air, you need to keep pulling, keep the throttle open. Nice, gentle throttle. Once the wheel comes up in the air, keep it up there by not easing off completely, just keeping that throttle open nicely.

Let go of the throttle. The wheel should come down nicely and you can ride away looking cool. Now, when you're doing a stand up wheelie, you can still keep your foot next to the back brake as a safety precaution.

If that front wheel starts to come up too high, you need to just tap that back brake and the front wheel will come back down again. So, stand up, lean back, open the throttle and pull on the handlebars and that wheel should come up in the air. And once you're leaning back, you're actually using your weight and the control throttle to get up in the air. .
