In this video, David Morris explains how to whistle a song.
Hello there. I'm David Morris. In 2003, I went over to America and I won the title “World Champion Whistler” and I'm here today to hopefully help you improve your whistling.
“How to whistle song”. First of all, you need to be confident in whistling a scale. See our film on “How to whistle a scale” for that and then once you've become confident in whistling a scale.
For example, (whistling…) you really should then be able to use those notes to whistle a simple song, for example here's “Twinkle a little star” a children's nature rhyme (whistling…) and then when you're happy with that, try something a little bit more adventurous, a little bit difficult perhaps (whistling…). So when you feel confident at whistling your scale. For example, let's take the first note of that scale (whistling…).
That's the lowest note of that scale, (whistling…) and that's how to whistle a song.
