Hello there. I'm David Morris. In 2003, I went over to America and I won the title “World Champion Whistler” and I'm here today to hopefully help you improve your whistling.

“How to whistle tunes”. For people who can read music you might want to get open the actual score or the copy of the music, follow the music. If you don't read music, you probably know a tune, listen to it on the radio, try and sing it or hum it and then try to whistle it.

It's important to start on a note which is going to give you a comfortable range, a range which you can handle. Don't start too high whistling a tune, otherwise you might end up with a note you can't get or the same works for the other end, too low. So, start of on a comfortable note from within your accepted range.

For example, (whistling…). See that range was right in the middle of my comfort zone, so it makes it easier. So when you feel comfortable with that you might want to go a little bit higher, a little bit shorter.

Most staccato for example, (whistling…). And that's how to whistle tunes.
