How To Win The Lottery
Everybody wants to win the lottery. It's a game of chance, and your chances of winning the lottery are close to zero. But there are some ways to increase your odds and strike it rich.
Step 1: Pick Your Game
Not all lotteries are created equal. Your chances of winning the Irish lottery are 16 times better than Powerball. Use an online lottery odds calculator to figure out your best bet.
Step 2: Pick Your Numbers
When deciding on what numbers to play, have a fair mix of odd and even numbers. All odd or all even numbers are drawn less then 3% of the time.
Step 3: Increase your odds
Spend another dollar and double your odds. Just remember… your chances of winning on any ticket are almost zero… and 2 x 0 still equals 0.
Step 4: Hold On To Your Ticket
The original lottery ticket must be presented to claim your prize. If you throw it away and someone finds it, they could claim your prize!
Tips & Comments
winning the lott is bull it will never happen to someone that really needs the money only people that got money win
I'm from England and the most I've won is £20 on Thunderball
The chances of the numbers 1,2,3,4,5 is the same as 43,96,1,77,32. You just don't notice.
Winning a lottery is by pure luck. Just like all the other winners have had their luck you can also win. Dont be decieved not to play but play responsibly. Wish you luck
The lottery is a waste of time and money. You may as well go and pour your money down the drain in the street. I live in England and you never see poor people or ethnic minorities being big winners yet they are likely to spend the most. Don't waste your time and money people.
The expected return for the UK lottery is 50%, that is, if you keep playing for long enough, you can expect to lose half your money and there is nothing you can do to improve that (although you can make it worse by picking numbers that lots of people go for as highlighted by another poster). Spreading your money across current accounts is a much better investment (even in today's climate). This is because exactly half of the ticket receipts goes into the prize fund. In other words... Don't play the lottery.
The chance of winning the lottery is slim to none. If you pick the numbers it doesn't matter if you pick all odds, all evens, or mix them up the chance of those numbers comming up is the same. However remember that if you two or more people pick the correct number you will have to share the prize. For that reason avoid picking the year/month/date combination, avoid sequences(2,4,6,8 or 1,2,3, 5, 8, 13), and avoid 7's (considered lucky numbers) so that if you end up winning the chances that you will have to share the prize are minimized..
Wow, what a useless video!? Waste of a minute and a half...
The claim that buying 2 tickets doubles your odds is false. The odds are the odds no matter how many tickets you buy. He probably meant to say increase your chances......
