How To Wrap A Box With A Rectangular End
Arona Khan shows us how to gift wrap a box in an original way. A perfect present perfectly wrapped- treat your friends and family to both this Christmas.
Step 1: You will need
Step 2: Measure the paper
Measure enough paper to go around the box lengthways. Leave a few extra inches at the end as this will be folded back later.
Step 3: Measure the ends
Measure paper at each end of the box equal to or slightly less than the depth of the box. If it too long on one side, trim the paper to the correct length.
Step 4: Pleat
Fold the end of the gift-wrap back once and over again to make a pleat showing the underside of the paper.
Step 5: Stick together
With the box correct side up, secure the paper around it with double sided tape, positioning the pleat wherever you like.
Step 6: Fold the end
Turn the box upside down. At one end of the box, fold the top part of the paper down and fold the sides in. Use matte tape to stick the bottom flap of paper together over the join. Bring the bottom paper up. Fold the bottom flap along the line where the two side folds meet so that the two flaps come to a point at the sides. Stick in place with double sided tape.
Step 7: Repeat
Repeat this at the other end of the box, folding the paper down, the sides in and the bottom up. Ensure the sides come to a point and secure with tape.
Step 8: Decorate

Tips & Comments
I like the pleat with the polybow but could look a bit messy otherwise - useful series of tips
With you on the pleat Don, just fold the paper back so it creates a hice edge and do the same with the paper ends so it also makes a nice edge, much better than that show and I am from the UK.
Thanks for your help with wrapping gifts. Ilana
I hate to be negative because I enjoy this website. Perhaps it's a US/UK difference. But I don't like the pleat along the length of the wrapping. And it seems the ends would look loose being attached as they are. I like to told the ends inside one time before folding up and attaching to the end of the box. It give a nice edge. But I did get a few ideas from this video.
