How To Wrap A Circular Gift
Elva from Wrapology shows how to flawlessly wrap a circular gift. She makes wrapping a gift shape which is difficult for most of us look wonderfully easy!
Hi, I'm Elva from Wrapology. Today, I'm going to give you some tips on gift wrapping. In this video, I'm going to show you how to wrap circular gifts.
What I need are ribbon scissors, paper scissors, ribbon, and cello tape. I have a choice of Japanese using paper because it is soft and strong. It has lots of pattern to hide any mistakes.
The color don't come off because this wrapping style has lots of creases. You can buy this paper from Wrapology. Put your circular gift in the middle of the paper.
The first step, you have to measure the paper correctly. First, you have to go around, no problem. The most important part is to measure at the sides.
What you need to do is find the middle of the circular gift and fold the paper just right in the middle. Hold your paper and the same at the other side. Measure the paper.
Cut the extra bit off. Now, we're closing the paper. Now, I'm going to show you how to do the creases.
Close the paper just right in the middle of the of the joint. Hold one side, pull the middle on the paper. That will make a crease.
Put this joint in the middle of the circular gift. Put another crease; hold it. Once we twist it all the way around, this is how we finish; and you put a little bit of tape in the middle.
You do the same at the other side. Once we finish both sides, we can put on a ribbon to hide the joints. Same as how you do the simple bow.
This is how you wrap the perfect circular gift. .
