Impress Your Friends With A Few Diabolo Tricks
VideoJug users RobAndWendy shows you how to perform some simple tricks with your Diabolo. From getting started, to throwing and catching your Diabolo, this film covers all aspects, and includes some humorous outtakes!
Step 1: Equipment
The tricks are performed using a small diabolo purchased from a toy shop. These are quite difficult to use (see out-takes!). Better quality diabolos are available from circus equipment, or 'skill toys' shops such as 'firetoys.co.uk'
Purchase 'Henry's' string and a 'Mr Babash Finesse' diabolo and your away. (An 'Oddball Radiant is a cheapervery hardwaring alternative but not quite as easy to use). LED lights can be fitted to the Finesse as seen at the end of the video being used in the dark on a loop of string (no sticks).
Step 2: To learn more tricks
There are instructional DVDs available from circus toy shops. We used' kiddiabolo first steps for beginners'.
