Is Sushi Good For You?

Sushi is touted as being a healthy food - but is it really? This film talks about what sushi is, and what nutrition elements you can expect from it.

All the main components are typically very low in calories and high in fibre, vitamins, and omega-3.

Rice is also high in fibre, and packed with vitamins and minerals. Nori, the seaweed, is fat-free and vitamin-heavy.

Fish is generally healthier than meat, having lower fat content and plenty of vitamins, minerals and omega-3.

What's more, sushi is traditionally served in small portions which can lead to you eating less over the course of a meal. Take your time with it – it's there to be savoured.

Like all foods, sushi needs to be eaten in moderation, as part of a healthy balanced lifestyle. But for a tasty relatively-guilt free luncheon, go mad.
