Just Dance 2: Tips & Tricks
Just Dance 2 is a popular new game for the Wii console that teaches you how to dance to many songs. This VideoJug video will give you the tips and tricks you need to out-dance your friends and have fun!
Just Dance 2 is a game for the Wii that will teach you fully choreographed dance routines from over forty pop songs. Even though the dance routines are fully choreographed for your head, your hands, your legs and your body, the only thing that really matters is your right arm - that's the one holding the Wii remote. You can pretty much face anyway but as long as you're doing the right motions, it will work.
When it comes to picking songs off the menu, there are two things you really need to think about. You'll see a cog symbol on the left-hand side of the menu option that indicates the technical difficulty of the song. The right-hand side has a bunch of sweat blobs, one to three.
That indicates how much effort you're going to have to put in. If you want to do a good workout, pick the ones with the high sweat. If you just want to learn to dance, pick the ones with the high technical difficulty.
Dance battle is quite a fun mode where you play against up to three other friends and battle for high points. There's a bunch of different modes you can play. The main one is a straight, everybody does the same thing and whoever scores highest wins.
Second fun mode in dance battle is duet, which is a routine specifically choreographed for two different parts. That's quite fun for four people because the two different routines will compliment each other. The battle mode I like doing most is medley.
What that does is give you five random songs, so even if someone has the game and knows all the routines, they don't really have an advantage. What you do is you do, I think, twenty seconds segments of each song and it works just the same as the classic dance battle. For all of the dance battle modes, the tip is basically the same thing: make sure you get the gold moves even if you're just swinging wildly for the rest of it, the golden moves will give you a giant score boost at the end.
Throughout the entire game, the most important thing you need to remember is to hold the controller at the right angle. When you first start, it will show you a picture and it's very easy to skip that because it looks just like all the rest of the Wii things. But if you hold it at the wrong angle, you will lose points even when you're doing the right moves.
