Hi. In this video, I'm going to be showing you how to French Braid hair. The easiest way is to kind of work, you are working a section of three.

So, if you just visually kind of split your hair into three. I'm just going to spray a little bit of hairspray, so all I'm doing is literally I'm just spraying onto my hands so I've just got a little bit of grip on the hair. If this is quite a new thing to you, I would suggest to use a pin tail comb, just to section off your first section.

All that does is just give you a nice clean, nice sized section before you start. So, I'm finding it easier to start here but it is a personal thing, just give it practice and see how you go. So, obviously, I'm going to kind of go over here.

Now, before I put that hair in, I would just sort of do that section over there because that does kind of keep that tight and the tension quite even. So, using my fingers, I've just sectioned a small part of hair from this side. Keep it quite small while you're learning, just so you know how your arm might be holding the hair.

Okay, now, so, obviously, to each side now, I am adding hair. Now, you see there's a small one there. You keep the fingers in here, it does tend to keep the hair quite tight, it stops the hair from falling out of the hands as you are working down.

As you see, I am keeping my hands quite close to the head. As you can see now, you are building a plait all the way down. If you are struggling, when you are practicing for getting a clean section, again, you can get a pin tail comb and take that section from the side.

Kind of take that section of hair away. When you are doing it yourself, it's quite the least too. So, if you can do it without, it would be much easier.

So, I'm going to just keep working through the hair. If you do get to some loose hair from there, you can get to pull it just a little bit tighter just to pull the section back in. A normal hair band will be sufficient.

Some people prefer just to neatly back comb on the end which I'll show you. And you take it all the way to the bottom, we'll just take it down to here for now. Some people do like to just take it to here and to just kind of back comb it neatly just to kind of stop the using bands.

It is a bit more of an unsecure technique, so I'm going to be using a small clear band as you can see just there. And that is how you French braid hair. .
