Magic Trick Revealed
MrMagicMan007, a VideoJug user, reveals how to do his magic trick with two decks of cards. Once you know the secret behind it, it's easier. So follow this clever guide and learn how to perfect your own magic trick.
Step 1: Two Decks
You have two packs, one red, one blue. Can be any color but it's very good to use two different colors. You want the spectator to choose any deck he likes, either the blue or the red. Let's say he picks up the red.
Step 2: Swap Decks
Now it's very important to ask him to do the same as you do and not to do what you don't do. So first of all, you ask him to shuffle the deck in anyway he likes. Nothing's wrong with that. Now you tell the spectator, "Now to show you that I didn't rig my pack in any way, we're going to swap the packs."
Step 3: Choose A Card
Now what I'm going to do is I'm going to choose a card, any card, from my deck. And he does the same thing. There you go. So this is the card the spectator chose. I know what the card is 'because I can see them on the camera, but don't worry about that.
It's for the effect. So you ask the spectator to put his card on top. Then, I put my card on top and you can cut the deck several times. So he does the same thing, cuts the deck. I cut my deck again. He cuts his deck again. And there you go.
Step 4: Perform the Trick
Now what you do is, you ask him to give your pack back, and you give him his. Now you find your card there. The spectator finds his card there. And I find my card here. The he finds his card in his deck and the effect is this; that you tell him that you've done exactly the same thing that I did.
So we must have chosen the same card together. He shows you his card, six of diamonds. You show him your card, and it's the six of diamonds. And that's the easiest "Do as I do" trick.
