Male Grooming: How To Care For Your Eyes

Your eyes are delicate and need a lot of care to avoid bags, wrinkles or shadows under your eyes. This gentleman's guide will show you how to care for your eyes. Male grooming has never been so easy! Your eyes are delicate and need a lot of care to avoid bags, wrinkles or shadows under your eyes. This gentleman's guide will show you how to care for your eyes. Male grooming has never been so easy!

Step 1: You will need

Step 2: Rest your eyes

Tiredness, poor eyesight and long hours in front of a computer can all contribute to puffy, tired looking eyes. Get a good night's sleep of at least 8 hours as often as possible. When you're working at a computer, take a short break every twenty minutes to give your eyes a rest. Also consider getting your eyes tested - if you are straining your eyes to see things, they will look and feel tired more quickly.

Step 3: Wash your face

Begin by washing your face with a face wash or gentle soap. Take care around the eyes, don't rub them or stretch the skin. Dry your face by patting with the towel rather than rubbing.

Step 4: Apply the cream

Apply a small amount of eye cream using the tips of your fingers. Start on the outside of the eye, and apply gently towards the nose around the contour of the eye. From the nose, circle outwards over the top of the eye. This circling motion helps to disperse the blood that has gathered around the eye which causes the dark shadows. Continue making circles around the eye until the cream is absorbed.

Step 5: Throughout the day

The skin around the eyes is very delicate. Even if you feel tired during the day, don't rub or scrunch up your eyes as this will increase your chances of wrinkles. Instead try splashing your face with cold water and pat dry with a towel.

Step 6: Tea Bags

Tea contains anti-oxidants which combat the free radicals that can increase signs of ageing. Next time you brew a cup of tea, keep two tea bags and store them in a glass with a little water next to your bed. When you go to bed, apply the cold tea bags to your eyes and leave them for 10 minutes or so. You can re-use the same tea bags once or twice.

Eye cream is just an invention from the cosmetic industry to make you buy another product, half the amount of daycream and double the price ! For the best skincare advice, male or female, go to Cosmeticscop.com and see what really work for skin ! Shouldv'e know about Paula Begoun earlier, would've saved me 1000s of euros that i've spent on products that simply don't work

I dont mean to be in any way nasty, but I dont feel this gentleman was the best 'model' for this video example. As the riddler from Batman once said, "it raises to many questions"!

Guys, dont over do the eye creams small amounts rather than generous, dont rub the skin, pat it in, all these little tips will have a better effect as you age, I've been doing it since I was sixteen, now 33, and my older brother of only eleven months looks way older than me, and we're very similar! I know DNA etc acts as the main ageing factor, but the longer one takes care of oneself, I think it does play a small part in the end.

Cut two thin slices of potato, and place each under your eyes, works much like the teabag and is great for taking away the dark circles underneath, try it!

A bit of advice for guys from a girl: DO NOT rub eye cream around your eyes! Pat it in with the pads of your fingers - you shouldn't rub the delicate skin around your eyes. Patting doesn't seem like it would get the cream in but, trust me, it does. ;)
