Medal Of Honor: Tips & Tricks
If you're new to playing Medal of Honor, here are some suggestions on how to get started. In this video, it's highly recommended to practice in the single player campaign in order to get used to the components of the game.
Medal of Honor is a popular first person shooter. Like all other first person shooters, Modern Warfare and Call of Duty, it's accumulated quite a crowd of followers. But, if you're new to the game, it can be a little bit daunting getting started, so here are my tips and tricks to help you get in and get on with Medal of Honor.
The first thing to do is to take your time. Before diving in to a multi-player game where you're likely to get beaten quite quickly, acclimatize yourself to the controls. If you've not used a 360 controller before, it can be quite a shift, particularly if you're used to a mouse and keyboard.
Obviously, it's twin sticks and buttons. You will need to see if it's set up to suit how you play. A big part of getting that set up right is going through the tutorial missions and then adjusting the settings to suit how you want them to behave.
This includes the ability to inverse how the left stick behaves. Some people prefer it to look up when they push up and some people actually prefer it to look down when they push up. It's important to get that right.
It will just feel natural to you once you've got the settings that match your style of play. Another thing to remember is to play through the campaign before going online. That's there for a reason.
It's to teach you how the game behaves, how it operates. It'll also teach you some of the maps that may be appearing online. You'll also get used to the weapons.
So, by spending time working though the single player campaign, maybe in co-op mode if you've got a friend at hand, you can really give yourself an advantage when it comes to playing multi-player games. Medal of Honor, like other first person shooter games, is built around a very discreet set of weapons. Understanding and knowing how those weapons behave in different scenarios will mean that you can kill your enemy before they kill you.
So, spend time playing with different weapons. Find out the different ranges. Find out the different firepower, which ones do the most damage.
Again, do that through the single player campaign. Do that with your friends online as well. Spending time in that way will mean you'll get better with the online game.
You'll get the whole game and you'll enjoy it a lot more. So, there are my tips for Medal of Honor.
