Office Christmas Party Game Ideas

We want to show you how to have the best traditional office party game that you can ever imagine. One of our favorite settings is an alternative, something like Alice in Wonderland that you can let your imagination run free and it really does lend itself some fantastic games, whether it's giant Connect Four or even a giant game of chess. Oversized games are great fun for office parties.

Of course, there's always the traditional games like Spin the Bottle and Kiss under the Mistletoe and all these sorts of things, you know, which normally got alcohol involved but we, at Theme Traders, much prefer these games. Everybody can play. Doesn't matter if you're a boring office person or an exciting office person, giant Jenga, chess, it amounts to fantastic themed area.

Invent your games. Make yourself a big board, put on it everybody's names and move it around as they move around during the evening. Have a treasure hunt.

Make everybody go and find other people that they know in the room. Put colors on them. Make them go and sign a passport saying they've spoken to somebody with the same color.

Whatever happens, this is going to break the ice and be absolutely perfect for a good office party. One of the best Christmas theme parties that I ever did was actually school. So, we did everything from concerts outside, hopscotch, absolutely.

You had a top shop, I know you had a top shop and I remember the people had to use to go behind the bicycle shed because there was some game involved where you had to guess the number or something. Do you remember that one? Yeah. I can't remember what that was at all.

There was a quiz, a science quiz, math quiz. Yep. Everybody had their books with them as they went around the room, didn't they? And when they get a certain amount of stamps or stars, actually, they were inside their books, then they could actually go and get more drinks.

And this was a really great bonus at our office party. Absolutely. And then, as well, we had the school disco earlier.

And then, we had the gym teacher and she made people go around and do push-ups and all sorts of weird things. Absolutely. And then, we had the sick bay.

I've always liked that. They administered shots to everybody when they were sitting in the chair. You can apply them to any of the themes.

It doesn't really matter what it is. Whether it's school or whether it's Alice in Wonderland, you can just bring in the theme. Create your own creative games around it. .
