Origami: How To Make Lazy Susan's Box

VideoJug shows you to make Lazy Susan's Box using the ancient art of Origami. Follow these simple steps, and you'll create a truly beautiful piece of art.

Start with the paper coloured side up

Fold your square in half on the horizontal

Fold it in half on the other horizontal

Turn the paper over and fold in half on the diagonal

Turn the paper back onto the coloured side and fold all four corners to the centre, be as precise as you can and don't overlap

Fold the corners back out to the edge of the model

Turn the model over and fold all four edges to the centre line

Turn over and pinch all four corners down, the model should start to lift up a little, keep pinching until the square in the middle becomes more prominent

Start gently pushing the central square down and then flatten the model

Push each of the four corners inside the model

Let the model stand like an “X”

Open out the four pockets, push your finger in and curve the bottom slightly from the outside

The box is now taking shape so pinch each corner of the square to neaten
