The wall spin is similar to a palm spin, but is done on the flat side of a wall rather than the top. The athlete approaches the object, takes off with both feet, places both hands on the wall, and rotates around them. This can be used to get over the likes of rails and walls, and also to just add a bit of flair to the run.

Please note that the techniques shown here are intended as examples of Parkour moves, as opposed to being actual 'tutorials'. They are performed by a professional athlete. Beginners and less experienced people wishing to get into Parkour should seek out an academy to learn from the professionals.

Wallspin can be part of Parkour or Freerunning, though it is most commonly asociated with Freerunning. It can be used to get from one side of an object to another using a wall to spin over. Oh, and I wouldn't try to dis Urban Freeflow. You probably can't do parkour or freerunning.

    1) a wallspin is NOT PARKOUR!!!!!!!! please get this through your head, it isnt, it isnt effective, it isnt useful, no it slows you down and makes you face the wrong way.....Parkour is about getting from ione place to another as efficiantly and as quickly as possible and a wall spin is a pointless spin that doesnt help in the slightes, no, it is free running, please understand this.... 2) Urban Freeflow are sellouts, they hardly care about the aspect of parkour and repeatedly have done hypocrative things aginst what they say, they are idiots, so please join actualy parkour networks and forums, or if you are interested in learning about other flips such as wall spins then go to the 3run website which has many people who will help you learn if yo want to
