Pet Friendly Hotels

Are you getting ready to travel and worried about leaving your pet in a kennel or with a neighbor? Lucky for pet owners, there are a number of pet friendly hotels and that number is still growing. This video will take you inside a few of these hotels and let you know which hotels are pet friendly and what sort of accommodations that they can offer you and your pet. Now you can bring you dog or cat along with you for some rest and relaxation away from home.
-
Step 1:
-
Pet friendly hotels exist.
-
For most pet owners going on vacation means having to find someone to take care of their pet. But thanks to a growing number of dog friendly hotels your four-legged friend can get the precious R & R right along with you.
-
Step 2:
-
Stay in a pet hotel.
-
If your lapdog demands the lap of luxury check out the Sheraton chain. You and your Poodle will be pampered in style. "There's a lot of travelers out there and a lot people that they're hesitant to leave their homes because they don't want to leave their best friend at home. So now we're giving them the option to bring them with them."
-
Step 3:
-
Pet hotels don't cost much.
-
If you and your Collie want to save some cash check out Red Roof Inn or Motel 6. They both offer comfortable rooms and a staff that are very pet friendly. You and your pet can get a room for as low as $39.99 a night. With the cash you save you can buy your Sheltie a little souvenir.
-
Step 4:
-
Prepared for the Hotel.
-
Remember when traveling with your companion animal its important to practice good "petiquetti". No sniffing allowed, people may have allergies or phobias to pets. Keep your dog on a short two-foot leash because you never know when you're going to have to maneuver around a bellman's cart. Desensitize your dog to elevators with lots of praise and treats. If your dog is a barker use an anti-bark collar to quiet them down. Before checking into any hotel with your dog it’s important to call first. Ask if there are any grassy areas nearby where your pet can do their business.
-
Step 5:
-
Don't leave Fido behind.
-
The next time you leave town don't leave Fido behind. There's a pet friendly hotel out there that is happy to have him.
