Step 1: To prepare

Sit on your mat with your legs crossed and reach your arms out in front of you, palms facing each other.

Step 2: The exercise

Inhale and reach your arms forwards as if you were going to hold a large ball, exhale and without pinching, draw your shoulder blades down your back into a V-like shape.

Inhale to reach again, and exhale drawing your shoulders down and bringing the arms back in.

Repeat this 5 times trying to feel the connection between your arms and back.

When you finish, relax your arms back down.
