Here's a nifty bit of magic that'll help you win a drink or two off a tipsy mate: pop a coin on its side on the table, and rest a match on top.

Bet them that they can't get the match off the coin without bumping the table or touching anything or blowing on anything, or doing anything else that involves jostling...

Once they've given up, scratching their heads, whip out a biro and rub it in some cloth to build up a static charge. The match can now be manipulated, like a little wooden compass! It can also be moved to fall off.
