Blag a drink off a friend by pulling this special little pub trick, and prepare to be amazed as bona fide magic causes two liquids to switch glasses... but how's it done? This is pub magic at its finest, that you can learn yourself to impress your friends and con them out of their booze...

Here's a little pub sorcery that'll help you win a free drink or two. Grab a shot of water and a shot of whiskey. Bet a chum that you can get the whiskey into the water glass and the water into the whiskey glass without using any other glasses or keeping the liquid in your mouth or anything.

Once they accept, pop a playing card over the water glass, and hold it on tight. Flip it over, and place it over the whiskey glass. Pull the card back so there's a teeny tiny little hole. Because the water's denser than the booze, it'll drop down into the other glass and the whiskey will be forced up.

Once the transformation's complete, push the playing card back across, flip the glass over again, and claim your winnings.

You might want to practice this one at home with water and milk before wasting money on spilling proper expensive booze all over pub tables and losing bets, because it's a bit tricky.
