Step one: Dismantling of the old siphon First of all: cover the floor with cloth below the wash basin. Then put a bucket underneath. Afterwards the wrap nuts of the siphon are unscrewed by the hand. The water, standing in the siphon, is tilt into the bucket. Step two: Dismantling firmly bonded nuts Put a cloth around the bonded nut to protect it against damages. With the help of a water pump pliers bonded nuts can be loosened. Step three: Assembly of the new siphon. If there is no new siphon, one can clean the old one. Afterwards the siphon will be assembled. You have to be careful and tighten the nuts to the right only by the hand. If everything is finished, the washer has to be exchanged with the leading-edge downwards Step four: Mount the siphon It must be considered that the wrap nuts are screwed on only sturdy. Step five: Examine for closeness If everything is tightened and cleaned, water should run to control whether everything is watertight.
