Not all RSS readers are websites, many are desktop applications. Instead of using a video camera and printouts of screenshots, he should use a screencast program to record what is happening on his screen.

FANTASTIC TUTORIAL, yet; the sound was far less easy to understand...

FANTASTIC TUTORIAL, yet; the sound was far less easy to understand than the visuals were. Why and how to improve:
WHY: Your voice echoes off the hard surfaces around you (such as the markerboard, tile floor...think of any surface in a bathroom that may be present in your set). Sound goes into the mic, but also bounces all over tarnation then back into the mic. The waves collide and cancel each other out (like ping bong balls bouncing around and disappearing once one hits another at the same frequency...right). Your voice sounds echoey because the most abundant frequencies are the mid-tones, and they are disappearing like lines in tetris.
HOW TO IMPROVE:
Give the ping pong balls something to land in. Give the tetris blocks some insulation. Pad the hard surfaces with materials that absorb energy like fabric, pillows and people.
oh! one more example, like when you move into a new place and it sounds empty; then you put furniture and what not in it and it sounds much more homey.
[I learned this last night in film school, pretty good, eh?]
