SATC Inspired Make-Up: Charlotte

Hia everyone, This is the first video of my SATC make up inspired looks. With plenty of requests and the fact I love the show, I couldn't wait to get started. I hope you enjoy them. To start them off we have the Charlotte York make up look AKA Kristin Davis. The products used are all mentioned in the video. Thanks for watching! Best wishes, Lauren.

Step 1: SATC- Charlotte:

Hi everyone. Today I'm going to do a four-part video and it's the SATC girls. It's a little tribute to them, because I love the show. And with them coming back, we're going to be doing a nice look for Charlotte coming up first, followed by Carrie, and then the two left afterwards. So we're going to get on with this.

Step 2: Apply cream:

First I'm going to put a bit of cream on my face, so everything blends a bit better. Then we're going to apply a little bit of bronzer. I'm just going to use Mary Ann bronzer on the apples of my cheeks, because Charlotte's got quite a nice bit of bronze to her. So we're going to stick this in a swirling motion, just around my cheekbones. And the same on this side, just a nice swirly motion.

Step 3: Coral colour brush:

Then once you've done that, we're going to go for a coral kind of colour blush, this one here by e.l.f. It's called Glow. I'm going to stick a little bit of that on, just to the high of the cheek. You'll see it in the end for it a bit better. It's quite nice, it's a lovely colour. Same on this side.

Step 4: All over cover stick:

Then once you've got that on, we're going to take some of the e.l.f. All Over Cover Stick, and I'm going to apply that all over my eye. It's just a concealer. I'm going to use it as a base for the colour because Charlotte's quite light, she doesn't wear dark colours very much, so I want to keep this look as light and airy as possible. Actually I've had quite a few requests for this look as well, which is good. It's nice to know I'm not the only one liking the show, it's dead popular.

Step 5: Eye-shadow:

Then once you've got that on -- itchy nose! It's all the powder and the brushes, it tickles! -- we're going to use a Stila eye-shadow in Jezebel, because she goes for coral, browns, she doesn't go for bright colours again. I'm just going to apply this with a little brush -- any little eye-shadow brush -- I'm going to apply this to the concealer that we've just applied all over eyes. It's a really, really light colour, and as some of you look as well. And again, Charlotte doesn't go for much colour so this is just perfect. Now the four girls I've got are really hard to go on, but Isabelle is watching the programme. I know she doesn't wear that much make-up, so this look will be apt for it. It's just perfect. And you do the same again on this side. Just bring it up a little bit, just past your crease, and give it a bit of a blend. Don't worry too much.

Step 6: Eye-liner:

Then once we've got that, we're going to take a little black eye-liner pencil -- this one's a Super Soft by Mary Ann, it's an eye crayon -- and we're going to apply that, just tease it into your eyelash line. You don't want it on top of, you just want it kind of between your lashes even, just to dark it out. It is a really gentle look, and I think it's quite cute. The same again on this side, just teasing the eye-liner, just along the lash line in between your lashes. And then a tiny little tick, but you don't want much of a tick. Now we're going to take the same pencil and we're going to line the lower lash line. Just gently though, you don't want it too harsh. The same again on this side.

Step 7: Lip gloss:

Then once you've got that, we're going to go for a nice lip gloss. This one's called Super Soft and Glossy Lip Shine and it's by e.l.f. The colour is Candlelight and it's the kind of colour Charlotte would go for. It's like a peachy brown colour. It's quite nice, almost on the coral side. Then once you've got that all over, we're going to take a darker one, this one here. This is an e.l.f. Plumping Lip Glaze, for when you need a dark colour afterward. And just gently, a bit of it on the lip, and then mix it in.
